OVERVIEW AND ROLE
Throughout my time at TSC, we maintained 'Generics'—real-time 3D Unity simulations connected to our legacy 2D models. Below are examples from several generics I helped develop.
At the start of each Generic model, I collaborated with engineers to evaluate required assets, determining whether to create and texture them from scratch or purchase and modify them based on complexity, cost, and availability.
Once a colleague set the initial layout with existing assets, production became highly collaborative with up to three artists contributing simultaneously. My responsibilities included modeling, texturing, and modifying assets in 3ds Max and Quixel Mixer, optimizing baked and real-time lighting, and designing dynamic camera sequences for marketing.
